Is player comm on?

It's had a breakdown due to all the negative energy. It couldn't cope.

 

It's just my idea of jest, from an old thread. It amuses me. Briefly.

 

This is a joke, one of the Matt's on the phone to someone saying "can you hear me now" is all i've had...and it's gone again

 

This Derby bloke is really good. Not sure about the co-commentator, but at least he appears to be honest.

 

No he's not, he's a right Jessie. He's got the voice of a possibly gay, daytime, quiz show presenter.

 

All the commentators are going this way for some reason, the new breed are all far too young and sound pretty similar...I blame the fact that they've all got degrees and the way they convey what they are seeing is far too calculated. Not like the older generation (that we seem to be losing at the rate of one every few seasons) who's passion for the game is evident in their imperfect voices. Maybe this younger lot would benefit from smoking 20 rothmans a day and having a few pints of bitter before they pick up the mic.
