Got to go all out for the win. If we sit in and play for a draw and stifle them we'll get picked off. It isn't Valerien's style. Tried it once at Cardiff and failed. Another Bournemouth effort without the silly errors will do me.

Yeah, something like that. I was surprised at first but then remembered we barely played each other for many years.

Ah, Paul O'Reilly who we signed on a free from Hull City. That was his first goal and his only other goal was also in a 3-0 away at Reading a couple of months later, wasn't it?

I was at that 1983 game. Think it was the league cup though.

Went with my Mum and Dad and my brother.

We stayed in a B&B with no heating. We had to sleep in our coats.

What a pleasure it was to grow up in Thatchers Britain.

    Lol mate, nice story :)

1983 was league game though at home last time we won. 1981 was the league cup where we beat them over two legs, but lost away 2-3 after a 2-0 victory at Oakwell

Ah maybe it was 1981 when I was there then. I'd have been 5, so seems right.

Lost 9 and drawn 2 since that win, another bogey team needs purrin straight.

That night at the Vetch in 1981 felt like a UEFA cup tie.

There's no need to approach the game any differently.

Let's not start making "Teams like" comments though.

It will be a very tough game. A good way to measure how far we have come. I'm glad largely we are not drawing too many games, but a draw there would be an amazing result. Other than the two relegated teams I'd say Swansea & Brentford are probably the rest of the best.
