Is there a reason why our midweek matches are all on Wednesday now?

    I think we also have played a couple of Sunday fixtures lately ,thus midweek game would be automatically moved to a Wednesday which may be part of the reason

    I'm sure I read it's something to do with broadcasting this season. Half the season, half the teams (normally) playing home games on a Tuesday night, then swap to Wednesday night and the Wednesday nighters then play on a Tuesday.
