    That was my memory of him when queuing for Liverpool tickets. Was queuing up against Preedys window about half four after queueing for something like seven hours. He walked straight out, head down, into his car parked outside the box office and sped straight off. Not one word to the fans queuing for hours to support the club. That rubbed a few up the wrong way who decided to shout at him, which he ignored and just walked to his vehicle quicker.

    the summer he signed hume he had another million to buy another striker.
    Also then we turned down 2 offers for anderson and jcr of around a million each.

    Have to agree with DB3K there,I was queuing there when he turned up and ignored everyone on the way in,I can honestly say
    I would have spent at least a few minutes with the fans had I been the manager,....and had I'd been the general Manager I'd have arranged for someone to bring some tea and coffee out for the faithfull,for what it would have cost the club for a few plastic cups and teabags it would definitely have been appreciated.I was hypothermic......the only bright spot was when the Ice cream van pulled into the car park.

    ive seen the many manager at oakwell when ive been there buying tickets and none of ever struck up a conversation with me or others in the queue.. cant believe people can use that against Simon Davey - pathetic.

    Just to be acknowledged Gord, he didn`t have to speak, a wave of the hand would have done it you know summat that makes you think you belong to the club, a part of it, not summat that leaves you feeling as though you`re an inconvenience stopping him from getting into the building.
