Murray (I think) was coaching the defenders during the Brentford pre-match warmup. It seemed odd at the time, but maybe something was afoot.
But he couldn't change the formation at that time . It will be interesting to see if he does v. Swansea .
He’s been part of the first team since the end of last season, was on all the pre season videos abroad and I’ve seen him at every game this season.
Chien San, giving Daniel Stendal the "Chau yau yu" shows you and all of your senior management team have zero understanding of British football. Sabre metrics doesn't work in our game, it is too dynamic for that. It is also as much a visceral thing as a cerebral one. A manager/head coach must be involved in the recruitment of players. You cannot recruit players for the manager and ask him to make them fit in to his style of playing. If what is being said on here is true you are going to have one hell of a time recruiting a replacement manager who will work strictly in accordance with your terms.
I wouldn’t know who Adam Murray was if he walked into a room wearing a badge saying “I’m Adam Murray”. If no new manager is appointed before our next game, at least if we’d look to the dug out and saw tongue or devaney or hassell it would give the fans someone to get behind, a few “he’s one of our own” chants etc I wish Adam all the best but it’s another bizarre decision by this board
I think it's to avoid potential clamour for a Tonge or Stern to get the job and clear indication that the board have someone else lined up.
