Michael Appleton turned them down to stay at Lincoln
That’s that then, at least I’ll bag myself £100
He’ll be gone by the end of the month.
Was only a matter of time. That's him gone.
stay and be a hero Big Val
This is a worry. Saw it myself on Twitter and this is the first time that a genuine/credible media source has mentioned his name with a job so directly.
Think it could happen.
Listened to Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink last night about the Dutch pressing style and Dutch approach to football. Always impressed with him, done a great job at Burton again. Would he be an option should this move occur?
If they're paying the buy out, then there's nothing we can do about it.
Just hope it's sorted quickly, one way or another. Last season showed what damage can be caused by having a coach who's not committed to staying.
Talk of the CEO heading to Forest could be even more damaging as well.
Dont like the look of that proper sports journalist rather than someone on football rumours.
Wonder why Appleton turned them down?
Folk on here are ridiculous.
As soon as there’s any sort of rumour it’s immediately “that’s it then”
Woodrow has 100% definitely left for £2.50 for 4 transfer windows in a row now I think.
Met him in Leeds. Tried to crack on with my wife. So it’s a no from me.
it’s a credible source to be fair
To be fair it's come the Telegraph. It's a reputable source.
I’m not saying it’s not and I do expect him to leave, I just think the immediate jump from “talks” to “that’s it then he’s gone” is a bit ridiculous.
Your Woodrow example came from 'In The Know' fans. Bit different when we've got Telegraph journalists reporting it over the Twitter accounts setup by teenagers who never see daylight - no need to call people ridiculous.
