Thing is only a couple out of 24 clubs in a league get promoted hence every other manager has failed!
Been obvious since his post match Swansea interview he would be leaving us soon so I have got used to it already. He gave us a good season but the Football wasn't great. Morais aside we have a really good record appointing head coaches who just continue where the other left off. Val is just commodity. I hope he stays but if he goes we move on. Not worried at all.
If the board VI how much he is valued and back that up with wages and a decent transfer budget, given our existing squad are WBA that much of a better bet than us? They struggled to clinch promotion to the Prem , then they struggled in it. Their fans are already arguing about 'hoofball' if he went there and wasn't an instant success, how would that go? I think if he doesn't stay with us he could at least do better than them
They all look pretty happy with the idea I do hope they are disappointed and he turns them down - thats if they are even serious
Laughing at West Brom fans fearing hoofball. It must have been East Brom who appointed Tony Pulis, Sam Allardyce, and Gary Megson.
Now reporting that West Brom are looking at a back up plan incase their approach doesn't work out. Reading between the lines does this mean they don't want to pay the full buy out clause? Link
I find myself in a similar position with regard to everything in the world that costs 2 million quid.
