He was one of the most negative posters on here in my opinion. And that takes some doing! I can’t remember it exactly but that thread titled ‘we could be as far down as 8th’ was an indication of this. That thread rightfully got bumped like mad.

I think thats the one he created the kracken thread in response to.

I just saw him a bit like eeyore to be honest. Didnt see any nastiness in his posts, grumpy yes.

I reckon its smart having hindsight however the truth is not every signing works out , the first thing we did when we signed Callum Styles was to loan him out , should we not have bothered with him as well ? Toby Sibbick has been loaned out twice but is now turning into a valued member of the squad , the point is that some work out others don"t but to pick on individual signings & say the money could have been used elsewhere is fine if you have a crystal ball that works

Ahh right okay, that would make sense I suppose!

That’s probably an accurate description. I think I’d say I’m probably in the “happy clapper” section so there’s a chance I could have just been seeing his posts a lot more negative than they actually were.

I don't know. Something to do with getting more likes in a reply to a tweet than the original tweet itself or something. I don't think anyone knows what it actually means, 13 year olds just say it on twitter to get likes.

Sounds like a good move. He needs first team football and there are probably 4 or 5 players ahead of him in his postion so a loan move seems ideal.

Additionally, I don't have any problem with signings like this. We need to be agressive when buying young talent - we can't wait until they're ready made as other teams will gazump us. I believe we need to acquire them a transfer window earlier so some might not work out. It's a risk but then signing any player is a risk and I think overall - over the last few seasons - we've managed that pretty well.

Regarding Miller, unfortunately it looks like it's not going to work out for him. He started his career well at Bury and we picked him up as a promising talent when it didn't work out for him at Middlesborough. We loaned him out to Bradford and iniially it went well as I remember him picking up a young player of the month award but since then it's been a little disappointing. He probably needs to drop back down the leagues and find a team who play to his strengths and needs to be playing regularly.

He scored pre-season in Germany and the time to give him a run was the beginning of last season. Strikers need confidence. The time to play them is when they're on the crest of a wave. I'd have given Bramall a go over Chaplin while he was rattling them in for the under 23's. That time has now passed.

Christie should have had a run out by now even if it was just off the bench. It's a shame because he had pedigree. Val can't of been a Chum of the Chappie though.

Football Twitter is an absolute cesspit due to the number of replies which are just downright embarrassing. I’d hate to be an admin of said accounts.
