Its like some kids have snuck out of primary school and posted their little argument on here.... have a word with yourselves!
Weirdo! Have to admit, I thought Isted was an odd signing, but he, and circumstances have proven me wrong. If he, and the team continues this form, I think Collins will struggle to get his place back. Not through any fault he has, but purely for the continuity of the selection, and understanding Isted will have built up with the defence. Obviously, March could go less well, and then it makes it a lot easier to put Collins straight back in.
Hooky don’t you think it’s odd that managers/head coaches have kept selecting Collins over Walton. There is a reason why. Maybe the dynamic needed shaking up and we have got that now Walton gone and Isted come in. Walton was in stagnation here and perhaps Collins needed another challenger.
I realise you asked Hooky, but I have a view. I believe Collins was selected by Ismael because of his sweeper keeper qualities. In general goalies have to perform very badly to lose the shirt hence Walton's lack of game time and not necessarily because he was a poorer keeper.
Without reading back on all these comments, I'm gonna guess that they're not all about our loan star GK. Hope everyone is OK and you're all getting on
Because he didn't consistently perform badly enough to be dropped. Had he not got injured we may never have seen Isted perform. However, none of that has owt to do with whether Isted is a good keeper or not.
