Looks like another plot twist is imminent re: Gerhard @Loko the Tyke. Surely Netflix will come sniffing soon.. never boring is it?
Struber in Heathrow airport getting chased by a weeping Dane Murphy with a huge bouquet of flowers begging him to stay. Episode ends with Struber staring at the ‘Now Boarding: New York’ sign and the eastenders theme playing.
Followed by a weeping Struber staring out of the rain-soaked window of the plane, blowing steam on it and spelling 'my boys' with his finger.
I just imagined it ending with a frustrated Conway storming out of Heathrow, all is lost, dejected, already concocting the 21 word statement in his head, before being drenched by a passing Megabus. Sinatra's New York, New York starts up.. roll credits!
When I posted this 14 months ago and put ‘performances on the pitch improving, playoffs’ I was deliberately being overly dramatic. The fact that part came true and now we’re right back where we started with boardroom House of Cards type behaviour is just absolutely mental.
Here it is! You'd better get your quill and ink out the bottom drawer If you can say anything about our club of late, it's never dull!
I don't know how I missed this thread first time around. Brilliant! With the West Stand in danger of collapse, I feel there's an opportunity to weave elements of a disaster movie into the plotlines. Will Paul Conway (Dwayne Johnson) manage to rescue 100 stranded directors, journalists and comatose ballboys before the whole thing comes crashing down around his ears?
Now if only our new CEO had played a clip of towering inferno ( terrified me as a kid) at the meeting to make his point!
