Come on Eaststand Lower why not join the pro-Davey faction - it's growing by the minute.

Clearly some sort of incentive is needed to get you to join us - (I too am an East StandLower) - I could er let you sit next to me (hopefully you're not that dick who claps his hands like a seal at inappropriate moments) or I could purchase a bottle of something of your choice for you at half time.
Or something else of your choosing.
Come on eaststand Lower - Davey and your country need you (raiseaglass)

More than 2 old son. Most in my drinking holes (admittedly on the outskirts) would prefer Davey than some Parkin, Thordarson or Glyn Hodges

    Oh yes I can

I can do what I want, don't need any guidelines from people on here.

As it happens, I always support the players, manager and all the staff at Barnsley FC, whoever they are. I think it is still possible to support the manager even if you are of the opinion he should go.

    Morning Kev

One of the weirder posts on the BBS - the idea that if you don't think the manager is good enough you should stay away from the ground???????? That's a matter of individual choice.

I don't think KO is good enough, but if he plays I will support him and go ballistic if he scores (don't need any clever answers to that thanks!). That's what supporters do.

    Completely bizarre.

    Freedom of speach, buddy

He's entitled to voice his opinions. According to him, though, we aren't if our views differ from his. :D

    RE: Oh yes I can

'support a manager who you think should go' -- that my friend is a contradiction of terms.
Football is a package - club, manager, players, you can't pick and choose - disagree with things if you like but when it comes to support you support the whole package or nothing at all.

But I do support the whole package, that's my point

You are entitled to your opinion of course. I support the club and all that comes with it. Like I said in another post, I support players who wear the shirt whilst at the same time being of the opinion that some of them may not be good enough. I think that's normal, and it's the same with the manager.
