Nobody from here went running; somebody in the media picked up on what was considered personal abuse.

The response has mostly been advising HT to be careful what he posts and pointing out that his style of posts could cause him bother.

People are too keen to jump on the it's a witch hunt bandwagon

After a long day, I find this thread.

And here's what I've made of it:

Hemsworth posted a thread yesterday, about an article in which David Perkins described 'Stonesy' as magnificent.

I (that's me) then replied, by referring to our entire squad, using just their nicknames - a bit of fun, at the expense of Perkins if anybody, as I find it amusing when footballers call each other ridiculous names (Clicker for example).

Hemsworth then responded, using choice language, and proceeded to lambast me, Mr C, and Bobby Hassell. Seemingly, my bit of fun went right over his head, and instead he took it as a swipe at his newly beloved 'Stonesy'.
He then mocked "man of God" Hassell, his ability, and said he'd swore during a reserve game way back when.

Basically, Hemsworth at this point had lost whatever small amount of the plot he had in the first place.

Matthew Murray (freelance Journo, friend of Hassell, and twitter user) must have stumbled across Hemsworth's remarks, and used his twitter account to tell all his followers, and even tagged Hassell in the tweet too.

Hemsworth then stumbled (fair bit of stumbling going off) across Murray's tweet, and then posted THIS thread on THIS forum.

The majority of contributors to this thread then attempted to advise Hemsworth, but he mustn't have listened. Because he then alleged that Murray "sucks off" Hassell. I think.

Some contributors saw it as a bit of a laugh, some also defended Hemsworth.

And here I am.

My opinion?

I like bread and dripping. And hot chocolate. In bed.

 

Just been to lookup what he's said as I do follow Matt on Twitter:-

"Who is Hemsworth Tyke? Always attacking @BobbyHassell2 on fans' forum. Fair enough if you don't like a player but no need to get personal"

Wowee. Just as you can say what you like about Hassell on here, within reason I don't see why he can't make a comment about it elsewhere on the internet, unless you think this is some kind of private club. And he hardly slagged you off or anything, just questioned the personal nature of your comments. Jeez, need to grow a thicker skin.

 

Well it was a joke Merlin.

I sent matt a few emails hes sent me a few. Just had a look on twitter and the player hassells said nothing although sarah? seems to be commenting. Personally if hes a problem then if he writes me a message via matt i will answer it.
I really cant see a 32 year old footballer been too bothered or i hope he wasnt bothered about a fan that spends a lot of money going around watching him sometimes have good games sometimes and have shockers and left me feeling ive spent 80 in the day watching him make after mistake.

 

That's about it Andy, apart from the postscript that he's actually spent all day digging his hole even deeper, despite some of us trying to calm him down - and having a bit of fun at the same time, admittedly.

Best bit is the thereeeeev, hysterically jumping up & down, waving his arms & screaming for attention in the face of Hemsiegate! Superb! I felt a bit sorry for him so have left two Horsencart pictures tonight as a special treat!

 

And the hole gets deeper....

@matthewmurray87 ok. So i've seen comments plus a new thread this am. I think Mr Hemsworth should be very careful what he writes as my mother has worked in the litigation dept of a large law firm for nearly 30 years. It is only libel if untrue and what he's attempting to suggest is just that. I'd be very careful if i were him.

So, his wife, and possibly young sons will have been reading your comments. How does that compare with swearing at a player in earshot of kids, and a 16 yo Hemmsie

 

Not sure how many times ive put it but you havent read what i put.

I just hope hes on it this season from warm up until hes off the field and down the tunnel.
