If Alvaro Morata were a month he’d be March 2020.

Completely disagree. I think we'll beat Italy if we get through. They looked very jaded. I think our extra fitness will be decisive.

Got to agree! I've enjoyed it immensely... regardless of where our lot end up.
World Cup next year too... although I feel that could end up being a pain the old posterior!

My comment was at half time, as it wore on Italy looked dead on their feet, you might be right

I'm relieved it's Italy. Spain's movement & passing would have embarrassed our defence, even with 'ar John at its heart. Let's hope we get through.....

Still got to get through the Danes ...they seem confident enough.
Did anyone see Schmeicel taking the mick out 'football's coming home' ?

He didn't. He was asked a ridiculous question by a reporter who got the sort of response his question merited.

True, but they also have areas that they can hurt us. The speed in which the get the ball and get straight into attack mode and then some of their passes are sublime. I'd feel happier if we got the first goal
And as he pointed out, we've yet to win the Euros and that phrase is utterly meaningless outside of England!

Italian's have been good to watch from the start of the tournament. But as they've progressed they seem to have reverted to type. Especially later in last night's game.
