G.Red I know you have a gripe with the owners but don't lie by saying the plans been forced on Stendel. He is part of the plan.Every signing as been scrutinised and brought in because they fit into Stendels way of playing.Theres a big myth by some who say the owners bring the players in,absolute rubbish.

It’s far too early for this. Stendel has the backing of the fans and the board will know this. Although what was it that King Keef used to say? “You’re only ever 3 games away from the sack as a football manager”? Typical nonsense from him.

I think he has the backing of the board though so would be very surprised.

No problem with the players bought if they'd been brought in to support the players the board sold rather than be their replacements a season too soon. The problem with this board is the same as the problem with the last, one sniff of a small profit and bang player sold the only difference is this lot haven't got the lack of money excuse

I think the only player we could have made stay was Kieffer. The others all refused contract talks and moved on for more money which is there right.

I don’t think the current squad is top 6 in L1. Not far off but not quite. By the end of the season you’d expect them to have developed into a good L1 team like they did the last time.

They sold last seasons top scorer with 2 years left for less than 3 million.

Your a consortium worth so many billion running a football club, you sell your top scorer with 2 years left for less than 3 million so peanuts, and replace him with a 21 year old Austrian for 1 million who isnt fit or good enough great business

Give it a rest, you have had all the reasoning behind it and still quote the lowest reported bid.

My arguement is we sold potts for 2million pinnock 3million lindsay 2.5 kieffer moore between 2.7 and 4million we got 6million in TV rights for promotion we got another million for villa been promoted. We talked a good one when promoted but still have the same transfer record set 22 years ago.

I like some of the players we have brought in they might be good in a few seasons and we will make profit on a few, but defensively we look poor could have been a cricket score today and uptop were thread bare.

I'm far from convinced by the owners and I don't know the motives every signing is based on profit when priority in the summer should have been safety not profit.

There's still a transfer window left, they'll have to pay inflated fees if they want owt.
