So the theory goes that this is a deliberate Republican tactic to make the ballot paper as complicated and time-consuming for the large Hispanic (generally Democrat-voting) population as possible: the wealthy retired population of Florida are generally Republicans and have all day to stand / sit in the queue to vote, whereas the Hispanics typically are doing 1 or 2 jobs so have no time to spend queuing up. I also heard that in Ohio - likely the closest-fought state - all the electronic voting booths have been supplied by a company owned by Mitt Romney's brother. So no chance of vote-fixing there then!!!
