When your government is prepared to give money to other counties so that they can use it against you and make you impose there rules and you don't have on either how that money is spent or the rules
Now unless I've missed something - which isn't hard given the state of our media - I thought we still had to agree on what we were going to pay or not pay. So they could be offering a chunk of money more than we actually need to pay (or and more likely much less).
We agreed to fund projects/infrastructure in Europe, if we don't pay then those projects won't be completed, jobs will be lost and companies will fold (in this country as well as on the continent). To think we could leave without paying what we owe is stupid.
Do you think the money we will 'save' will be invested back into areas like Barnsley and Liverpool? Both areas have benefitted from EU money and yes that age old argument it's our money anyway - ask the question again will that money come to areas like Liverpool and Barnsley- we all know the answer!
If we Pretty much what ive been saying since david cammeron neglected his responsibility The.brutal.fact is people.voted to.support the thames valley rather than the dearne valley
Forget all the gloom, we’re getting our country back, or something. Tea on the lawn, spitfires flying permanently overhead, punka wallahs on the veranda, hot & cold running Vera Lynn, boiled beef and carrots 24/7, 365. Ace!
Of course it wont. The metaphorical EU flag flew high over barnsley. Do you think a tory government would invest any surplus money into our communities? Doubtful.
Aye just like the 80's & 90's when EU money was being pumped in to areas hit by the run down of the coal industry. The Conservatives used the EU money to cut UK grants that we should also have had.
I defend anyone's right to have voted out in the referendum, now we are getting to the nitty gritty and the facts are being laid bare, anyone who still thinks its a good idea is either stupid or has no economic investment in our country's future.
Please don't go down the name-calling line ('stupid'), there's more than enough of those types on here. I think "significantly misinformed' is a more than adequate replacement
