RE: Of course St holders should have priority.

That's how I see it. For away games, those who go to away games should get first refusal on production of ticket stubs. There will be fans who's been to a number of away games this season, missing out for those going for the first time.

Do you know what was said to Shepherd?

RE: Its only an opinion, but

Im sorry but i disagree with that, Season ticket holders put there money where there mouth is in May/June/July entitling them to preferencial treatment for any cup games home or away. After that then yes away match stubs should be taken into account before other categories but only after season ticket holders.

I dunno, he went back to bed, he had to be at work for 9.

There was a single security guard turning people away since 3am, and he said that he had already turned away about 400 people.

I take your views on board and can see why you hold them. I only bought an ST this year because I was scared this might happen and I'd miss out on a big away cup game. I don't even get value for money from a season ticket, and this cup run is making it worse. I can't get up there midweek.

But what you are saying is that its right for someone who's not been away oncethis year but has an ST, to have preference over people who've been to most home and away games but don't have a seaon ticket.

If I hadn't been daft enought to but a season ticket I'd have been well into the 2nd category, I've been to 11 home and 11 away this season. I'd have gone to those games regardless of having an ST.

I understand that, but if someone has been to that many games, surely they should have bought an ST anyway?

There's no winners in our argument, but the fact is that it has been handled terribly buy the club, and I'd like to here an explanation by the decision makers.

You have a legitimate argument but it misses the key point. Whatever system was used for priority how can giving two tickets to season ticket holders be fair? That's the real major "****-up" (being generous!). What do you think?

    I didn't miss the point

I just didn't make it. To be honest I am being devils advocate- because no one solution would be universally accepted.

You just have to try and find the best way to allocate. One thing is 100% sure, 2 per ST was NOT the best way.
