RE: they do it in both long and short

I thought there was a FIFA ruling about goalies having to wear long sleeve.

Personally I think there should be a ruling that ALL players wear long sleeve shirts so easier to spot handball offenders.

I'm not aware of a long sleeve ruling (Fabien Barthez etc)

But I agree with the long sleeve thing. I would maybe compromise and say that if players choose to wear short sleeves then they have to wear a wrist band in their teams colours or something (a very quick and un thought out idea).

Another rule that I would change is that refs shouldnt be allowed to wear the same colour shorts as either team. If a team is wearing black shorts then the referee should wear a differnt colour (blue maybe?) and goalkeepers too should be made to wear different shirts. The two keepers often both come out wearing the same colour shirt or a goalkeeper shirt will be very similar to the outfield shirt.
