Didn`t they shut that darn at one point, with the fans using it as an extra place to go for a piss and then reopen it a couple a season later serving refreshments again.

Lovely aroma to enjoy whilst queuing.

Started going about 1988 and the internal views are exactly how I remember it, apart from the club on the corner I don't remember that much about the outside, don't think I ever even ventured around the back of the Brewery Stand.

I temporarily defected to the East Stand. Including both the promotion and Prem years actually. But back in the West Stand for the last few seasons and I wouldn't have it any other way now. The lack of leg room, the lack of atmosphere, the restricted view, the feeling that the floor is going to cave when folk get excited about a corner. It's how football should be viewed.

Smell of Bovril, jumpers for goalposts etc etc.....

with regards the lottery / centenary draw wasnt it christine, gerrys wife who won the car?

something like 10 names were picked out at first for the opening years grand draw at the last game of the season, from this final 10 she won it, i think it made the national newspapers on the monday.
