    Kin hell. Im gutted. Gaz helped with the Will I Nivver Wembley song we did. Occasionally talked about a few ideas and thoughts and only last few days we exchanged messages on some Eye Up and Darn stuff. Tremendous sense of humour. Will be sadly missed. Condolences to his family.

    So sorry to hear this Matt. Gaz was a well-loved poster on here and I only ever found him to be a top bloke away from the BBS. I think of his regular trips to tend Rev Preedy's grave with Neil, the many times he chipped in and helped us out with things like setting up or tearing down the old Redfearn's and in the fanzone. Barnsley through and through and not to mention the laughs he gave us with Eyup and Down and his involvement in West Stand Bogs (and the money raised for charity through all those). I'm shocked and extremely saddened to wake up to this news.

    Sincere condolences to your family and all his friends who I know were numerous. RIP Gaz

    I'll never forget his dry humour. His user name was even a tongue twister. Such was his sense of humour.

    Wtf!!!!!!! Only just read this. Had to read it back half a dozen times to make sure it wasn’t some kind of mad wind up. Absolutely shocked by this. Properly shocked. Spent some time with Gaz through WSB, also on the trip to Dundalk. He was a sound lad. Barnsley through and through.

    Thoughts with you and the family. Proper shocked.

    So sorry to read this. Gaz reached out privately to me last year, and said to contact him any time if i needed to. People like Gaz are salt of the earth types and we can all learn from his caring for others, sense of humour, and kindness. Love and condolences to the family. RIP.
