I've had nowt much to say on the matter thus far....

I don't think he'd go to either Sheffield club, because they're in no better position than us at the moment. Yes, they have the potential, solely due to a bigger fanbase, but they're each a good couple of years away from challenging for promotion to the Premiership at best, even with the Hillcroft magic. Leeds are in a better position than us and have the fanbase, but they also have very fickle fans and Ken Bates, so I don't think they would interest Hill at present. I don't think they'd move to another Championship club unless they were in a much better position than us off the pitch, with more potential and no problems in the boardroom. I'm sure they'd fancy Blackburn, but whoever takes that post is not going to get long from the fans or the owners, so maybe even that wouldn't be seem as the right move for them at this moment in time.

 

As a promising manager with a building reputation I wouldn't touch the Blackburn job with a shitty stick.

 

I think that bridge has been well and truly burnt with his rant on parachute payments. Rules out several clubs in effect, at the risk of appearing the single, biggest hypocrite in history! He can isolate as many potential suitors as he likes, as far as I'm concerned.
