On a side note. My niece husband and boys were in Sheffield Friday night for ice hockey. Came out and their van had been broken into. A case containing boys clothing was pinched. Bet the culprits were disappointed with that result. Anyway police were informed and their response was “it happens here all the time “ Fkn brilliant. Open goal for any would be thieves. The world is fked. Well this country is.

I’m sure he’s upped security and given his family supportive options for when he’s not at home, same as any of us would. I’m likely to buy a better burglar alarm or locks, he can probably afford two security guards to patrol his property 24/7. But it’s the same reaction, according to your means.

Welcome to the real world. Money and privilege buys you access to all sort of ****. Look at the Liz Truss ‘honours’ list.
Pep subbed him just after half time and said afterwards that he probably shouldn't have played. Must be a horrible feeling tbf.
If the thieves were tramping round in a pair of fleece-lined New Balance trainers or some Blundstones to fit a 10 year old, they're probably the same scrotes who robbed us!
