Swings and roundabouts mate. I was harsh caught up in the emotion in the immediate aftermath.

Didn't watch the Boro game, but he was embarrassingly bad at Chelsea.

Walton got quick reactions throwing arms around shot stopping, just needs to improve distribution, decision making in box needs to improve too, only young ,still think more experienced goalkeeper needed but well played for reaction saves yesterday Jack

Bump. I got crucified after that game...

I’ll stand by word, not as good as everyone makes out.

Likes to rush out of his goal and has regular head **** moments, should’ve been 1 down after 30 seconds...

At fault for 3 of the goals tonight, position awful for that free-kick.

You couldnt wait for him to have a poor game could you but if you are looking to Blame walton you are looking in the wrong place
Which goals are you blaming him for - surely not the first 2 and the third he cant have planned for Kane in the wall to duck under the ball and how you blame him for the 4th is beyond me -

The 2nd - beaten at his near post?

The 3rd nowhere near to be seen for that free-kick.

Did you not see that 4th goal? Are your eyes painted on.. the tame shot went straight through him.

Nothing like having an agenda is there Scott?

You’ve waited to bump the thread for ten games, of which we won five and got several clean sheets, and Walton hasn’t really put a foot wrong in them prior to tonight.

If you think Brad Collins is a better bet fair enough. I’m not sure many agree.

How come you didn’t bump the thread a bit sooner?

    No agenda.

Merely stating a point he’s not as good as everyone makes out.

He's had this post in his drafts for the best part of 2 months, crying into his pot noodle every time Walton makes a save.

After numerous clean sheets and stand out performances, he must have punched the air in ecstasy as Walton dropped a clanger, allowing the release of weeks of pent up frustration.

A match to forget for Walton but he's saved the defence's blushes so many times this season. I think he can be excused the occasional off day.

The fact the thread hasn't been bumped for so long tells folk how Walton has been playing.

Jesus Christ some folk can't wait to appear when we lose. Third goal was a cracking free kick, great position to put doubt in a keepers mind. They lined up for a cross and he put it into corner.
Solanke 2nd was great centre forward play, good finish and approach play. He used strength and timed the shot. That's what 15 million gets you.

He’d put his wall in exactly the right place to stop the third goal happening. Kane just wimped out of stopping it.
