Jacob Butterfield, a wasted talent?

Doesn't just apply to football though. A job opportunity came up at work a few years ago, I thought it would be interesting and add experience in an area I didn't know much about. 12 months later the company have problems, get taken over and the department restructured which means that role as such no longer exists and I have to do something else. A few years after and I'm made redundant whereas if I'd stayed in my original role I'd probably have been ok.
Sometimes though you have to take a chance and come out of your safe-zone.
