My understanding of it...

...is that Shilpa Shetty has conducted herself with the utmost dignity throughout all this.

By the Indian woman's behaviour I presume you mean her looks, manners and general decorum that appear to have been the reason she's been singled out?

Whether it's racism, bullying or whatever I think your defending the undefensible...

I don't think it's racism, as such...

One or two of the remarks I've heard (fair point, not just made by the Goody woman but others too) have had racist undertones but they aren't picking on her solely 'cos she's Indian - I think it's more ignorance and stupidity. It is out of order though...

Then it may not be racially motivated but what's hapening is that an individual is being singled out becasue she won't run with the pack. She's 'different' - and not just because of her ethnic background, but becasue she's intelligent, well mannered and socially far more adept than any of the 3 who are rounding on her.</p>
