This is the problem with stills. They often prove nothing. It can be very difficult to come to a conclusion, because the relevant issue can be a matter of a tiny fraction of a second. Where was Jalo, and where were all opposition players at the precise instant that the ball was passed? It can be hard for a linesman too, because he has to be looking at several different things all at the same time.

I would like to see Jalo start at Stevenage. He certainly seems to be more of a natural goalscorer than anyone else in the squad. It's time for him to be given the opportunity to show what he can do when he's on the pitch for a longer period than just a little cameo appearance.

I would as well. Cole and Cosgrove are just so predictable to play against. Must be the easiest thing for a coach to plan for. 5 minutes of video footage, job done. By contrast they don't know anything about Jalo, and we all know defenders hate players who will just run at them

Must admit I thought he was offside so was a bit shocked to hear comments that he was “2 yards onside”.

I’ve been saying so far that we’ve managed him well and that we shouldn’t expect too much of him but he needs to be getting more minutes now for me.

He seems like he’s the only player that will pick the ball up and run with it. McAtee does it sometimes but he’s seemingly better at being on the shoulder, making runs in behind.
