My eldest hasn’t driven since she passed her test. Went to Uni, didn’t need a car. Now working in Manchester where she doesn’t need a car.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but we achieved 91 points in this division last time, without any players on loan. Actually, thinking about it, Woodrow and Bahre were both on loan, but we had deals in place to sign both of them permanently. The players you mentioned previously in this thread, I'm fairly certain we'd have little to no chance of signing permanently, Delap especially.

I don't disagree that effective use of the loan market can be invaluable, the likes of McBurnie and Dike have shown that. But the core of the squad needs to be built around a solid, and often more experienced spine. With the likes of Collins, Andersen, Kane and Norwood running as the spine of the team, with the number of games they've got under their belt between them, we might have the luxury to gamble on a couple of young prospects. But they need to add value to the team because otherwise, what's the point in them being here? We can't afford to carry players, the likes of Joe Rothwell and Dan Cowley spring to mind. Both have gone on to have good careers, but at the time, they were passengers in our side. There's much less risk of that with signings such as Cadden, Norwood and Cundy, who have been around a while and gained experience at this, or a similar level.

I would tread a bit more carefully. Just a friendly warning.

I sometimes feel a touch sorry for the responses you get on here, just for having a different view of a player, a signing, a performance, etc. There’s plenty of other batshit crazy posts on this site that don’t get the response that yours do, and at least you attempt to explain why you think what you do.

But that ‘sometimes’ quickly vanishes when I read complete and utter bilge like this. Sorry Hemmsy.

Mmmm.. ..... well it all remains to be seen as to how the team actually performs once the season starts. You can't crucify the cast and crew until the film turns out to be a stinker.

We do need two decent forwards. Otherwise I can't see us top half.

I'm not bothered whether I'm called from the crowd to change either their nappy or their hearing aid at half time. As long as they know how to score (which is the whole point of the game).

Plus at half time the one thing I can guarantee is that I won't get a pint (without missing 5 mins playing time). So I'm open to offers to assist.

If its offensive Loko then please delete it and explain to me why. I'm a little bit direct in the way I speak at times.

It's not up to Loko to edit your responses, it's up to you to think before you post. Misogyny is un-called for.

Higgy has gone full on criticizing everyone at board level who seem to play a part these days.

I make it 2 men and 2 women he's named.

I may be missing something .

You are bang out of order , your comments are way over the top & just purely attention seeking & insultive, its a pity you have to stoop to such a low level because a lot of the time you talk sense ,but when you speak like this your credibility goes out of the window , try pausing & thinking before you post please .

Easy when someone else is paying for your season ticket. Were they the ones wanting their money back?

I think you are. It is the capital letters and way he speaks about her. It is unnecessary. I agree that he's gone for all of the board though.

Think he’s be a good signing, a master of the wind up and can score, no defender thinks at this l level ”oh good, playing against Norwood today.”

I don't think this would be a good signing.

Yes, I've seen the highlights reel of his goals for Ipswich posted earlier in this thread. Yes, it's very impressive; he's a talented goal scorer.

I don't think we'll get him on the pitch very often. I don't think we can afford strength in depth. I think we'll lose a lot of games 1-0 because the player we need to score goals we can't get playing and we took the gamble with him at the expense of signing someone else. There's too many risk factors with this signing for it to be a sensible option, imho.

Hope I'm wrong, it would be great to see a proper goal scorer down at Oakwell, I just can't see it happening.

That's it, I'll now shurrup about it.

JAQ appears to me to be quite a successful business person and achieved much in her life, why are you attacking her, is it because she's female or because she's foreign (or both). And by the way, what have you achieved in your life to be calling her?
