I thought Mido was a massive signing for us Early on in his Bayern career he spent six months out injured with a serious injury so lets hope he can stay fit.

Excellent news, 3 year contract. At least if he's as good as the hype would suggest, we'd get a decent fee for him.

My Boro mate put me straight early on what an odds on disaster that would be.

 

Huge signing. Twice as large as Jennings.

I'm glad we've got him on a 3 year deal. I could only imagine it being a 1 year deal and then us letting him go for 500k in January. If he impresses during his first season we could get offered more than we did for Stones. A Tranmere fan reckons that he should have been looking for a move to a lower premier league team.

I'm confused as to whether we paid £250,000 for him or if we signed him on a free in a deal worth £250,000 (i.e. £83,333pa wages)

I'm trying to not get too excited as this time last year I though Silva was going to take the league by storm but on paper this is a great signing.

Not to sure about RNL keeping him out of the team when RNL hasn't proven anytime in the last 5 years that he can stay fit for a period of time never mind holding down a regualr startion position.
