You don't have to tell me about tory cuts over the last few years believe me. We are offering a third world service in terms of staffing levels, something which i have loudly fought against and this has cost me dear.
What sickens me most is the managers ( one a passionate corbynite) who have done the government and trust executives dirty work for them, towing the party line. "Deal with it", how many times have i heard that. It's hard to 'deal with it' when this puts people's health and safety ( and lives) constantly at risk.

P.s ... private mental healthcare services provide the whole gamut of inpatient services, but yes they do specialise in the services that the nhs struggle to provide ( low secure, locked rehab, rehab and enduring care).
All low secure hospitals nhs or otherwise are generally like prisons. The patients are exceptionally or potentially very dangerous. I have had many patients sent from prison and to a person they have all claimed "it's worse than prison". It's not a nice place to be in.

I think your posts are on the nail. We need more money for the NHS. I'm a Corbyn supporter, as most folks know, but the key thing is giving people quality service. The Bransons of this world have no place in running our health service, trains or sh!te broadband. I think there is scope at a local level to use self employed people though. That makes perfect sense & sits well with my understanding of keeping money in the community as a whole. In the long run I want a better infrastructure, that isn't solely about profit, that monitors this better. You clearly know more than me on this, my experience is just with friends & family. Most of us are on the spectrum!
