I couldn't care less whether you think my posts have any credibility or not.

 

I would take him if we could get him. Proven goalscorer at L1 level, consistently on the scoresheet for 2 seasons. Also scored plenty out on loan in L1. Can't say much about his performances for Leeds in Championship (4 or 5?) as he was only a young lad and hadn't played any professional football before then, just scored plenty at Wealdstone. He was at Chelsea's academy. I think he looks like a rough diamond. Confident he could do it at Championship level, up to the management to sort him out otherwise because he can be a sulker. Gerrim in.

 

Beckford in my opinion is a player we should bid for. Looks like a better gamble than some of the foriegn signings we have made. Plus making a bid for him should, for me, suggest we are trying to sign decent players who would improve our team.

striker is the hardest position to fill. Every team wants a top striker.

Thats why league 2 players can command 4-5k a week which is on par with our top earners. Look at Jamie Ward. I bet you Simon Cox goes for big money in the summer. No wonder Davey has to look abroad. He did really well to bag Hume at the time.
I know everyone complaines about crap foreign imports but when we are blown out of the water for league 1 & 2 players what choice does he have?
