I think you have both misunderstood what I was saying. I was asking when footballers have ever been paid more for failure than for success in response to tobytyke57 saying that footballers get paid more for failure
I think what tobytyke57 meant is that when a footballer fails they often end up on an improved deal, or being rewarded with a good deal. Plenty of examples of that out there, but you're right that football doesn't pay people to fail.
