Can you still buy bricks for the wall at Oakwell?

Could we set up a donation for one with his name on it?

    Mark,

Im not a particularly religious person, but just in case you are looking down....
A more genuine and kind hearted bloke I will never meet, able to see good in absolutely anyone. Without your witty remarks and insight into life, my match days will never be the same. Never even got the chance to say goodbye. It wasn’t your time to go, still don’t really understand how and why it can be.

For me, this fairytale Cup run will live in my memory tinged with a deep sadness cos you’re no longer sat with us, shouting “Get a glip Barnsley”. Blimey, you’d be loving it. But I know you will be there with us, in hearts and minds. Always.

A true red. Rest in peace Mark.

    Ketilbert here...

I'm piggybacking Daz's log-in 'cos mine don't seem to work anymore!

Alas it isn't a windup, he was a good mate and a top bloke - proper Reds fan and would've been over the moon after Saturday. Some people have posted saying it puts the result into perspective - it's true in some ways but Mark would've wanted us all to get on with it and celebrate, even down to Odejayi scoring the winner is exactly how he would've wanted it.

If anyone is interested in making donations / collections then the best organisation would be the Guitars behind Bars scheme - a highly succesful music project for prisoners that reduces reoffending in a big way. I'll post the details later...

    Jim.

Never met the guy, but seeing some of the comments on here shows how well loved he was. My condolences go out to all of you who knew him. 41 years old, no age at all. RIP fella.
