85 cars due to Italian laws regarding car sharing. Normally it's about 45 cars, which is obscene.

Biden is more palatable than Trump, no doubt about that, but the machines that run AmeriKKKa do the same stuff, whoever is in power. Biden's botched withdrawal from Afghanistan was shameful.

Alternatively, "will get fooled again and again and ag..."

Only chance the US has at real change is when AOC hits 35 years old.

I would nt get your hopes up . AOC s micro Vs the macro interview should tell you all you need to know . All the " progressive " house members go right along with the corporate democrat machine . As for the democrats ever passing any legislation to help ordinary folk forget it . They have the blue dog Dems ready to swoop in to scupper any deals .

See Joe manchin's recent scuppering of paid parental leave as evidence of how little the Dems do .

You criticise the left like Sanders as being part of the machine despite him wanting to introduce some actual progressive policies.
Agreed on Manchin. All he's interested in is staying in post which means he has to be near enough a Republican.
Totally agree the Democratic party is equally crippled by self interest but there are, at least some in that party who would try to do some good things. The trouble is the Republicans, Manchester and the filibuster mean they never happen.

Quiet amusing how much rubbish he's come out with this year.

A great man. And he loves U2! But most of all, he's not the populist wrecking ball.

The problem with America is the same as here, the electoral system is effectively rigged to result in a 2-party system with not a great deal to choose between them.

His latest mistake is he called Zelensky Putin. He needs replacing because he will lose the election to a felon who doesn't want to fund Ukraine. I think his wife loves being a first lady and isn't prepared to give it up by giving her husband some home truths.

    Yikes.

As I've said before, apart from anything else what is he possibly getting out of this? Personally I'd want to spend my last few lucid years relaxing with my family, advising whoever came next if they wanted it.

He needs to be replaced.. but it won't affect the fact that the criminal scumbag will win the election. Since the last election the republican state governments that hold most swung states have been gerrymandering and changing voting laws to ensure they win those states based on trumps election fraud lie. They only care about winning and retaining power by any means.

Biden's early stages dementia is a huge problem.. but it isn't why he'll lose.. or why any replacement.will lose.

He’s just referred to Kamala Harris as Vice President Trump.

Well look at the other side of the coin. We, as in the UK are throwing billions at a war where we are technically not involved. Money that could be spent on public services.

Trump claims he would end the war even before he formally takes up office if elected. If he does that, even if it means giving corrupt Russia part of a corrupt Ukraine, I'll take that any day over sending more billions and an escalation into a world war.

It's a bold claim indeed. But having a senile joke in Biden as president is in itself a real danger to world peace

Bidens on his way to being the same.

All those people in the US and these are the best two is a joke indeed.

However a US president and Russian President being in cahoots is the opposite of a threat to world peace. At least we don't all get toasted when the missiles start landing!

You’re actually both correct. And that’s why it’s a big, big worry.

Same event. Said he wouldn't have chosen "Vice President Trump" if he hadn't thought she'd been up to the job.

Feels obvious that he's just getting his words confused, but you'd think that a basic requirement of a US President is that they should be able to argue a reasonable point. And that goes for Trump as well - I think at the moment we just need to keep our fingers crossed that we make it through the next half a decade whoever ends up in power, and hope for somebody reasonably competent afterwards. Pretty terrifying stuff.
