Re: Yes, and lets not forget So we had plans to not rely on loans and to give our own youth a chance. So we look to loan an inexperienced youth from another team....It gets worse.
Re: I'd argue that those players have at least shown signs Every single member of the midfield has been poor Dawson included whether played on the middle or the right. In fact McCourt's little cameo the other day was probably our best midfield performance of the season. All defenders have made individual and collective mistakes RNL excluded so to blame Wiseman would be a little harsh. At least the forward line seems to be working.
Re: Yes, and lets not forget I don't think Dudgeon is particularly inexperienced 30+ games maybe he plans to play him and RNL
Re: I'd argue that those players have at least shown signs i just don't agree that our midfield is not good enough. at all. before a ball was kicked, most of us here were very excited at the prospect of one of the strongest midfields on paper. and i believe it still is. kelvin, perks and mellis totally dominated almost every midfield last year. since then, we've strengthened it further, with the likes of mccourt and jennings. it's the formation is what's causing the problem. i'm as baffled as everyone else with it. i imagine the players are as well. flicker has always said he'll listen and learn. someone just needs to sit him down and give him a good shake, before he finds himself out of a job.
Re: Yes, and lets not forget maybe not but he missed most of last season with a bad injury and had played very little since, he may be over that injury but once more we appear to be nothing more than a club here to get other clubs players fit
Re: Yes, and lets not forget He got injured the same time as Matty Fryatt but I'm sure if he had signed fans would be drooling.
Re: I'd argue that those players have at least shown signs Our midfield should be a solid lower mid table championship midfield with Mellis on a good day being capable of playing for a team in the top 5 but at the moment It is very poor. Too many players hopelessly out of form or hopelessly out of position. Dawson's return from injury seems to have caused some mass paralysis and the new players not given a chance though McCourt looked impressive in his cameo on Saturday. No need to panic about midfield but we need to return to basics and the system that served us so well at the end of last season.
Re: I'd argue that those players have at least shown signs what's the odds that McCourt won't be seen again this side of Christmas?
Re: I'd argue that those players have at least shown signs Perkins and high tempo game should not beused Iin the same sentence. He is caught dwelling on the ball more than any other player.
Re: I'd argue that those players have at least shown signs Against Leicester why not go for it and see what happens? I can't see that team conceding too many? Steel Crainie Nyatanga Ramage RNL Etuhu Digby Jennings Mellis McCourt COG I've not picked Pedersen as he won't be 100% fit.
why are we again chasing someone thats been on and off the treatment table in the last few weeks? lets add another to the bench or reserves then...
Like it Pontered, maybe Perkins for Digby but no complaints with that. But I know we'll put out a side which will attract pressure.
Re: I'd argue that those players have at least shown signs Barring injury my guess is he'll be on the bench on saturday......his injury, not mine.
