I’d like to see Woakes get de Kock out.

This has turned into a great bowing pitch. I fancy us to get them all out for < 200 in the last innings. 2 days, 400+ needed. Can’t see anything but an England win, here

Think I'd have declared after Woakes got out. Keep your bowlers fresh. Although I suspect Root wants a 50

Broad has to be the best number 11 in Test match history. How many 11s have a Test high score of 169?

Superb knock so far from South Africa.

    A bit of excitement!

Think we can take the draw out of the possible final outcomes
Still got their best batsman to come in yet - will start to worry if they get to the end of today with only 3 or less wickets down

Should be able to. Can't see South Africa coming back now, but de Kock is a great player, so you never know.

I believe they can play until 4:30 with the extra half an hour, if either captain and the umpires agree that half an hour is likely to finish the game.

But I could have it wrong, it could be that the normal time is 3:30 and they can go to 4:00.

Another well-timed bump, five down now. Timing is everything in cricket.

86-6 since their big partnership was ended that looked like they were getting back in to the match.

Wonderful comeback after the first test. Some fantastic young players in this squad. The future is bright

93-8 was a collapse of English proportions. It didn't look like it would be over today for a long period of day 4.
