    Or they block up the development of our own players while we make them ready either for their parent clubs to play or flog. We then never having given them a chance ship our own youngsters out. It's all opinions.

    I disagree, I think if he plays well, it certainly benefits us as well as Everton, any points he helps us get are beneficial.

    But even if he plays well he's still keeping another player out of the team. Admittedly we've lost James, Kent and Scowen but we've added enough replacement midfielders to cover them. So are we saying we've bought quantity instead of variety, quantity that will be on the bench?
