Re: John Stones is at Everton as we speak "Whether it's Wigan or Everton, he won't be coming back to #BarnsleyFC on loan." - Rob Stanton
I thought stones agent was a woman?... The players agent is thought to be on his way to evertons training ground to tie up a deal...from skysports
Re: John Stones is at Everton as we speak "Whether it's Wigan or Everton, he won't be coming back to #BarnsleyFC on loan." - Rob Stanton We've played hardball then.
Re: Had a horrible thought Or even back to us as seems to be the fashion these days. If Palace can do it with Saha why not us with Stones?
rest easy Stonsey is also a huge BFC fan , could you see any true reds fan entertaining that idea..... well apart from that thug Morgan.
Stones for £3m threads aren't true if reports are to be believed Don and Pat are actually selling him for £2m. We might never see the rest. It's a £2m deal. Not £3m.
I'm not sure if he'll start straight away. Everton have some top players. It's true they're having a lot of injury troubles at RB but they played an England international in Jagielka there yesterday. For the few games prior to that they played Phil Neville there. I can't see Stones being picked above either of those. I guess it depends if Moyes wants Jagielka back at centre half and wants to play Neville in centre midfield. Coleman is due back in 3 weeks but I think Hibbert is a longer injury. Either way we'll have no chance of getting him back on loan when the club in the question has no fit right backs.

I think its pretty fair business. Selling Stones has allowed us to bring in Delap, O Grady and whoever else we manage to buy in the next 3 hours. Right backs don't save you from relegation, no matter how good they are.
think we could have brought them players in anyway. We've lost a lot of players in january. Also Flitcorft/ hill have always said there was room to bring people in.
