It's a gut feeling and because Johnson is more of a modern coach compared to Wilson's older techniques which weren't as effective as they used to be

It's just my gut feeling and I think that Johnson's more modern coaching techniques will prove to be more effective in the long term

I also think Johnson is more honest in terms of interviews which gives fans more reassurance that he will try and sort things out. Obviously that doesn't win you games but is fairly reassuring that he has seen the same game as fans

Finally I think he's got a strategy which players have bought into. Look at Mawson. We fought off competition from big clubs and Mawson said Johnson convinced him to sign for Barnsley

Even though we haven't got results yet, I am convinced we will get it right

    Just how I feel

Seems a reasonable point of view. Though the modern coaching techniques outlined in the PDF file are more David Brent than Arsene Wenger.

I hope you are right like all our managers I desperately want him to succeed and hope that he does. Can't say I'm impressed by the negativity of his teams but he's a young guy learning his job who has maybe swallowed a coaching manual or two too many. He just needs to remember occasionally that our opposition is Shrewsbury not Bayern Munich.

    Onwards and upwards.
