The only difference collins is supposed to be a leader

 

I was framing it more from a point of view of tossing swear words around when there are kids nearby. Surely the fans doing that are as to blame as Collins?

 

Yes kids hear it everywhere these days, but a leader is supposed to lead by example and be role models, collins effing and jeffing is out of order

 

No doubt some of those effing and jeffing will have been fathers, uncles or grandparents - shouldn't they be setting an example?

I'm not condoning what Collins has done, far from it. He shouldn't be hurling abuse at paying customers. But to suggest he's any more in the wrong than fans who were using similarly abusive language, targeted at someone doing their job in their workplace, in front of kids doesn't work for me.

 

I am not saying he is any worse than anyone just that he is a role model and shouldn't be swearing
