Another good performance today from the lad. He's going to be good. Hope he's okay after coming off, was it just cramp?

He's a great prospect that makes everything look easy, the sliding tackle/ block today was very important.

Best bit was he left one on Kane in the first 30 seconds - showed he doesn't give a f.ck. Class.

Looked fine walking around at full time.

I predict he will start against Reading.....

Gave the ball away once or twice but was otherwise fantastic, he’s so composed in tight spaces. Low centre of gravity helps there.

In fact him and Connell together in front of the back four were absolutely great today; the lad is going to have a very good career.

And hopefully we can all agree he’s not a right back. He did a job there, but it’s not his best position.

He’d have been up there for motm for me if he’d played the whole game - though I will edge towards Connell for that once the poll opens. Forget the fortunate deflected goal - over and above that I thought he was busy and hugely effective today, one aberration first half aside where he gave it away (to have his blushes spared by Blandy getting back to block marvellously).

As for the young Welshman, let’s enjoy him whilst we can.

Spoke really well in his interview the other day and played really well today.

Plays and speaks like he’s 30. Which is praise.

He’s going to go far. I suspect he’ll play many, many games in the championship.

He’s an outstanding talent and could go on to play in the premier league from what I’ve seen.

it’s no coincidence that Connell had his best game with Bland alongside him

Yoganathan is very talented but for me that’s your best midfield pairing

My mate from the games tells me that his Welsh friend says the Welsh fans have real big hopes for both Bland and Yogathan at senior level.

I’ve banged drum with my lot for a bit now, he’s like a Rolls Royce, doesn't look out of place anywhere he plays, very similar to Danny Wilson, always available for the ball, does what he needs to in a simple fashion.

love how he can get stuck in too!

    £10m in the making

Na.. holding mid all day.. we are a better more solid defensive wise with him in a two with Connell. So the all-round structure is better Couple of sloppy midfield passes yesterday which is his focus dropping.. Needs more sugar in tea!. But our shape is way better with him in center mid.

Yes the pairing was outstanding yesterday and offered the back four (with the attacking full backs sometimes a two) protection at all times whilst always offering an out ball and movement.

I thought both gave a great performance yesterday - against eleven and ten.

Yea...we were talking before the game and saying it should have been Kelly or Russell to start but great choice and had a fantastic game (shows what we know).

He earned his start through excellent performances in the cup & he justified his selection.

I saw quite a few moans about him starting over Kelly in the Facebook comments & I can only assume they didn’t watch the cup games as he’s been great in them.

The lad is a top footballer. Gest stuck in. Finds and makes a pass. Keeps it simple. Big heart. Confident but not arrogant. Bags of stamina.
Well done BFC /CH for giving this talented lad the opportunity to grow with us.

He's a top young talent. Without a doubt will eventually be sold for millions. No doubt he'll play in the PL. I think Yoga is not far off the same level tbh, not quite but not far.

It’s no coincidence that Connell is having a far better season now he’s got a bit of help - as much as folk had a go at Kane, he did offer some sort of protection in this area. He’s far more exposed when we try to crowbar Russell in in some capacity. If bland is out longer term, Kelly is the natural replacement in my opinion as he offers a lot more defensively than such as Russell

Thing I like about both of them is they have a bit of devilment about them and not afraid to get into peoples faces. Yoga needs to learn to be a bit more subtle about it but neither are overawed.
