    Not strictly true. In 2001-02 we were god awful. We had a decent left back in the late Chris Barker though. We sold him at the end of the season for 600 grand.

    Steve chuffing Parkin decided to sign another left back, he dropped Chris Barker and put Paul Gibbs in the team and managed to make a bad team much worse.

    So it is possible.

    Not that I think that will be the case here. Lewis looks like a decent player.

    Maybe not the signing I wanted but welcome nonetheless since I've been crying out for pace in the team since the summer. Play him and Rodrigues either side of DKD in a false 9 and we might look half decent.
