The only slight risk is if he stays fit, but he could be a great stop gap signing, I wish we'd signed him last season.

For clarity, he's started 3 league games and come on as a substitute 18 times. He's scored 3 goals in cup competitions though.
Rhodes a number of years ago was without doubt the best striker in the EFL and the amount of goals he's scored in his entire career is outstanding. But over the last decade he's really struggled for form and games. Last season he did really well and got 15 which was a shock. Before that you have to go back 10 years for the last time he hit double figures in a season. Sadly Rhodes is no longer the amazing striker he once was. The fact he got 15 last season and is now not even making the Blackpool side raises speaks volumes.
