    Yes Davies had a poor season last year and nobody will argue against that. However, he wasn’t the only one who had a bad year. The reason for relegation was a combination of poor performance by the whole team, rubbish coaching and mismanagement at board level. To pick out one player is out of order in my opinion.

    If we don’t go up this year it won’t be because of the goalkeepers we have. They’re both more than adequate for a league 1 promotion challenge.

    I actually don’t think we need any more players. However, if we do look to sign anyone then every position bar attacking midfield has more need for it than in goal.

    I'm not singling him out. Equal blame goes to those who continued to pick him and those who failed to replace him. It's the position on the pitch where mistakes are most likely to cost you goals and games.

    You said everyone on this board agreed that we would have survived had it not been for Davies which is clearly not true, not even close. He didn't even play in some of our most abject, spineless displays so maybe you should cast your net of blame a little further.
