tbf morecambe were absolutely shocking. it was like a pre-season friendly. our 23s would have beaten that side. recent away performances have been well off the mark for me.

Got into so me great positions yesterday but his crossing was poor that was my worry at the beginning of the season but to be fair he's been good. Thought yesterday he was poor and Kane looked abit leggy my be time to mix it up of the subs I thought Tedic looked sharp when he came on

    Our away form in 2023:

    Lost at Charlton
    Won at Oxford
    Drew at Portsmouth
    Won at Port Vale
    Won at Cheltenham
    Drew at Bristol Rovers
    Won at Wycombe
    Lost at Exeter
    Lost at Burton

Whilst we did lose at Charlton, I've never seen a more one-sided defeat. We battered them. Gave a daft goal away, and conceded an offside second on the break.

At Portsmouth, we were absolutely robbed blind by a referee who blew up as we scored a perfectly good goal. Thankfully, we still found an equaliser.

At Bristol, Cole was pulled down six yards out, about to pull the trigger. No penalty.

Exeter is the only game where I felt the other side deserved to beat us. And even then, we were all over them looking for an equaliser when they got a penalty they shouldn't have, as the man 'fouled' was three yard offside when the initial shot came in.

Yesterday was quite possibly the worst refereeing decision I've ever seen given against us. Yes, I know, Oldham away 1994 etc etc. And there are countless other occasions where a decision has screwed us over. But the enormity of the ref's error yesterday makes this one really sting. I'd have put my house on us beating Burton at a canter with a penalty to take after 14 minutes and another 76 against 10 men. We'd then be three points behind Ipswich. We'd have made two points on Wednesday. There are millions of pounds at stake. Jobs on the line. And this isn't the first time this referee has made a huge mistake this season. So whilst we have to 'suck up' the latest bad call against us, what happens to make sure such an instance isn't repeated? I know, humans make mistakes. But the same bloke gave handball against Phillips five minutes later, after he brought the ball under control with his chest.

I could be here all afternoon listing the **** decisions that have stung us this season. It's only a few weeks ago that a club managed to get a game against us called off despite not having the required number of international call-ups.

If karma exists, if stuff 'evens itself out' as they say, we'll be fine. Yeah, right.

    I'm pretty aggrieved despite a nice night's sleep :D

Agree with all of this. Wycombe probably deserved something out of the game but too many others have been impacted by poor reffing.

Doesn't matter if one or two have occasional 'off days' as long as there's cover. The team is a unit and some of them will underperform from time to time regardless of whether Williams is or isn't. Its up to the manager to juggle resources and make changes. So far this season Duff has been our best player and he'll get it right long term even if the team falls short this season (which hopefully they wont). Duff has held his form really well!

I might be wrong but I think we have won the last 7 at home , away we have lost 2 lately but still won at Wycombe which was classed as a tough match which we got the same amount of points as we did against Morecombe , for a side who were written off before a ball was kicked we have done remarkably well but hey 2 defeats in 14 & some still find fault but you are fully entitled to your opinion of which I respect .
