Haha, and for that I think we can all be thankful ;-)
Why do this when we could have gone for the cheaper option of Harsley?
Don’t know anything about him, I’ve just looked him up and he’s certainly worked at some massive clubs including Chelsea and Inter Milan
made me proper chuckle that did
So the most important question for Barnsley fans is - how do we pronounce his surname? l Can't wait for Football Heaven tonight.
He's worked at Chelsea with Mourinho......tissue sales have just exploded in West Yorkshire I'm guessing
Got brilliant contacts having worked with Mourinho at Real Madrid and Chelsea.
Hadn't heard of him until today so I have no idea about him.
Think i remember him being in a episode of Terry and June
I've never heard of him either, but I'm willing to give the guy a chance and get behind him 100%.
I still feel we have enough in the squad to keep us up, if they can be re-motivated and sent out to win games.
Fingers crossed he's the bloke to do it...
That could be a big spin off. Big mates with JM. Let's see if he will loan some of Man United's burgeoning
talent in the future. Irrespective of the number of Clubs he's had, he's got experience of working with some
of the Worlds most talented players. For me, this is a brilliant appointment. Welcome to Oakwell Jose.
A big pat on the back for Mr Lee and Co.
What a CV. Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Chelsea, Barnsley. Saving best till last.
I’m more enthused by the fact that we’ve avoided another “one of our own” appointment as it was getting rather nauseating of late. At least Morais will be judged solely on his results.
Should be good for some decent loans from Mancs. Would think the Miserable One would trust him with better quality kids than we've been used to.
And much quicker as well.
Dunt stop at clubs for long does he? Can I be the first to congratulate him on his forthcoming Summer move to Leeds?
Um dos nossos ! ! ! !
Genuine coffee out my nose moment!
Obviously any appointment is a gamble but he certainly looks like a good choice going on his record and clubs he has worked with. Deffo outside the box thinking from the CE/Board.
...and they don't do anything crazy.
Assistant he may have been but you don't get employed at clubs like that, entrusted with the players, if you don't know what you are doing.
Looks good on paper. Time to deliver Senor!
It's certainly an exciting appointment and shows ambition. I would think the players will be excited about working with someone with his background and experience.
