I was once told about a well known English player training abroad with a foreign club. He was injury prone & was looking to relaunch his career & his wife was from the country that he was training in. It was apparently a done deal, everything was agreed & I was even sent a picture of him with the rest of the squad & the manager. We did request a bet on Sky Bet & lumped on at 12/1. The next thing he had a change of heart & came back to the premier league where he barely played for a couple of seasons before retiring. So until you see it announced it’s not done trust me.
Hope I wrong but this looking like a typical transfer window run by Sormaz, not looking good at the minute
But he has to put the effort into getting to the office to withdraw said offer. And would Ferguson ever have been in the position of working under said clownery?
Not doubting what you say for one minute mate and I appreciate your input on this forum. My take on what you are saying (if its acurate) is that it shows how truly amateur we still are...we should be chasing our main targets and making them feel like we really want them etc, wining and dining them etc...not sending paperwork with DHL and crossing our fingers! Leaf out if Brian Clough days where he camped in their house etc...come on reds....we should be better than this.
CH "I want to strengthen top left, please make Humps an offer" CH "Ok, you don't want to pay him that, I look the look of Koroma, he's available" CH "FFS Mladen, when you are back in the office can we please look at supporting me in building a team?" Can see him losing his cool. Or will he suck it all up to avoid rocking the boat?
If any of this is true (which, it seems quite a far-fetched story), it just further highlights how poor things are being run down at Oakwell at the minute. It's as though they don't even care. Though it's also poor form from Koroma (again, if true), to lack the courtesy to say he's exploring other options.
If this is genuine, (and no reason to doubt either way) then both club and player leave a lot to be desired. Following on from what Humphrys said about when Conor contacted him to see if he was signing a new contract or not, but was still awaiting said offer, it doesn’t look good at all. I suppose we’ll never (officially) get to know exactly what has gone off
Surely this about Mladen isn't true..? Given his reputation it feels more likely that people down the line are filling in the blanks. Surely...
This is so fantastical it can't possibly be true, can it? The main person required to conclude and negotiate transfer business, being on holiday at the most important time of the year? Surely even we can't allow such a ridiculous thing to happen?
I think we should freak him out and announce that we've signed him, show a lovely picture of him kissing the badge
