Not often you get a man in his mid to late 20s openly releasing a song saying that people under 18 get him hard and asking someone under 18 when she's going to give it up to him

Wasn't that the basis for most early 2000's indie songs? Maybe not as direct as that, but certainly lads in their early to mid 20s writing songs about teenage girls.

Couldn't tell you, not really a big fan of indie music but I don't think grown men openly lusting after children is acceptable whether it's one or 1 million of them doing it. I strongly believe that the attitude of "ah it's normal, everyone does it" and legitimising that behaviour is what allowed predators like Jimmy Savile to get away with what he did rather than it being some big cover up. It wasn't that people knew he was doing wrong but covered it up, it's that they didn't care because it was normalised. For example see the images in the newspapers in the 90s. 15 year old girls stripping out of there actual school uniforms, images of a 15 year old Charlotte church accompanied by the headline "she's a big girl now" and referencing her chest and at least one newspaper holding a readers vote for Britain's sexiest school child.

Let's make no mistake. There are thousands, if not millions of hypocritical men out there acting disgusted at the grooming gangs and the celebrity scandals like Savile who in all honesty would have loved to have done the same if they'd got the chance. Hell there will undoubtedly be members of this very bbs who bought those newspapers and enjoyed a good perv over the children posing provocatively inside.

Sorry for the rant, I just get annoyed when this behaviour is legitimised by referring to the predators as lads and saying everyone did it like that makes it ok. Not meaning to have a go at you here by the way Archey, I don't for one second think that you would condone that behaviour, it's just a general point that it pisses me off how it was allowed to happen, not by secretive BBC directors covering things up or by police afraid of upsetting races but actually more blatantly by thousands and thousands of pervy men who today would be called paedophiles and yet they think they did nothing wrong. But to be clear I mean nothing at all against you, yours was just a convenient post to have a rant in reply to.
