I find it incredibly hard to believe he was offered the same terms. I suspect someone claimed to be in the know and it's spread round like wildfire as things do these days with social media.
Sorry , no offence to you , but I don't believe that could be true ....if the club plan is to maximise it's assets losing a top player on a free would be against that plan .
