Absolutely no idea how Joshua is still on his feet. He's been battered. Dubois has been emaculate. But he is.
Joshua should now retire, Chin just isn’t up to it and he’s benefited from a weaker heavyweight division. Soon as he fights someone decent and not past it he struggles. He’s looked better in his last few fights but his natural ability just isn’t there. Not going to win a heavyweight fight with hands by your side, just a bizarre strategy. His movement was dreadful too. Probably came in too heavy once again meaning he couldn’t move freely Dubois looked great to be fair as well
Can’t remember seeing an elite fighter look so poor in a title fight. AJ was a sitting target for pretty much every second. You could see Dubois just growing in confidence with every shot.
No head movement v the best jab in the heavyweights, no massive surprise. DD did catch him with some great shots.
I’m so, so happy for Dubois. He’s my type of fighter, he’s got a huge set of balls & probably took the Joyce & Usyk fights too early but who can blame him when it’s life changing money on the table? I was scared he’d freeze a bit tonight & get flattened early as it took him a while to get going against Hrgovic but he was brilliant from the first bell. Huge respect to him for not padding his record with 25 wins before he steps up like many do. As for Joshua, he’s had a brilliant career but his era will be remembered for the Fury & Wilder fights not happening. I’ve no doubt he’ll try to claim it wasn’t his fault but when they managed to fight each other three times & you didn’t fight either of them you’re rightly going to take a lot of the blame.
