    Had we played Argentina in the final, Messi could have picked the ball up in his own penalty, run the length of the pitch holding the ball in his hands, thrown it in the back of our net, and the referee would have awarded Argentina three goals.

    We would have also been docked three goals for having too many black players.

    I reckon he's massively over hyped. He looked slow for the first twenty minutes and made a couple of tackles where he was late. I also thought it was a boring game and if Scotland hadn't made a succession of errors people would be talking about how bad this England side is under Southgate and what a waste of talent etc.

    People think I'm fickle.:D

    I have massive respect for Souness for his charity work but he doesn't half talk some crap. Bellingham walks into any midfield in the world in any role. 10, 8, 6, he can do it all.

    Maddison is a good attacking midfielder with a much more limited skillset. He's not as good as Bellingham in his preferred role and a hell of a lot worse in any other role.

    There's a reason Bellingham went to Real Madrid and Maddison went to Spurs.
